The tittle of the painting is consonant with trident, hence the three white shapes situated in the horizon. Arrangement in triads is an archetype that has been a part of our psyche for thousands of yearsand appears in the creation of tales, myths, religious writings and holy texts the world over. The power of three is universal and may be observedin heaven-earth-water, body-soul-spirit, birth-life-death, beginning-middle-end, past-present-future, etc. The number three is considered the perfect number, the unifier of dualities. Kabbalists refer to it as the number of integration. Three represents the indissoluble trinity in Christianity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit), in Buddhism (the three bodies of Buddha), in Islam (the Father, the Son and Maryam) and in Hindu (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva). The painting is an anthem for blessings and superior protection.
