Trickster, 2016

Trickster tales have been told around the world since ancient times and asa slippery archetype the trickster has been guiding us through this process all the while. He is an alchemist and a magician creating realities in the duality of time and illusion and has many forms, both human and animal, and generally seems to be a comedy of opposites. For every good aspect of his persona there is an equal and opposite aspect. He puts his mask on to either laugh at the ridiculousness of life or to cut through the social shams and reveal our hypocrisy in an acceptable way. Healways serves as a balancing agent and an equalizing force that challenges us to grow, often employing discomfort to motivate.
