Neonate, 2016

The colours of this painting are a symbolical representation of a sunrise (yellow as a colour of a benign and radiant sun) amidst the clarity of a blue sky. "Neonate" is the allegory of the natural phenomenon that the whole world enjoys namely the beginning of a new day. As a source of advantageous light, the sun generates life and creates new hope for people on a daily basis. In that the sun is the centre of the solar system, figuratively new hope is the center of existence of life which is a key concept in all religions. Each give people the power to address the challenges of every day life and realize that tomorrow is another opportunity for revival.
