The Winding Way, 2016

New life that lies dormant in the egg will become life-energy that is depicted with the firework colours (green, red yellow, white). The serpent envelops the egg like mother who is guarding her treasure from outside intrusions. The egg and the serpent are symbols of female sexual energy,divine feminine circular eggs and spiritual spirals of the Goddess. With the ability to shed its old skin, metaphorically speaking, it represents the release of old ways of thinking that no longer work in our lives. The fresh new skin found underneath symbolizes rebirth, resurrection and new beginnings. The painting is about women's personal and material growth, their wisdom, flexibility on a way to a higher level of being.
