Kaleidoscope, 2016

Red and yellow circles in the upper left and lower right corners respectively, are the wheels that maneuver this kaleidoscopic picture of shifting colours. The kaleidoscope is a symbol of possibilities and potential with the slightest movement perpetually creating new images.Metaphorically speaking, these colours represent different parts of our lives, certain people, certain thoughts and certain beliefs. This painting reminds us that to initiate change it's important to create a new vision within yourself that simply requires looking at situations in a new way. "Life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived"(Alexander Pope).
